I recently replaced a Moen cartidge 12801 on my shower because it was dripping. At first it worked fine, very good pressure for both hot and cold. A couple days later I noted that the hot water flow was substantially reduced(<25%). I pulled the cartidge thinking that some sediment might have been blocking the hot supply. I didn't see anything when shined a flashlight inside so I replaced the cartridge. When I tried the faucet again the hot water flow was again very good. The next day the hot flow had reduced again. The issue seems intermitent as it has come and gone the last couple days. I'm out of ideas. Any suggestions?

I have a similar problems. We built a house in 2007 with 3 BA and the water pressure in only one BA- Shower was reduced considerably. I opened the stems (Price Pfister), let the water run for 10 minutes. The flow improved a lot in the cold water but just a little in the hot water. Any other suggestions?
