I have acquired a 50" Zenith rear projection built in 05. The past owner said when it was turned on the picture would keep getting bluer and bluer until the TV shut itself off. Please Help

Sounds like the screen control is going bad.If you want to try to DIY post the model # and I'll try to find the part # for it.

Part # 180-836K ,This is best guess without seeing the set,but it's allways been a high failure part affecting the crts in zenith sets.Should be able to google it and find it for about $30 .

I allways like to look at it as one repair not any harder than another , just some take more time.The ones that take more time equalls more money I save DIY rather than paying for someone elses time. ;)
