How is a sink attached to a wall in a commercial building?
The sink is coming off the wall in my office and I can't see how its attached.
Do you know how to fix it?
Your help would be greatly appreciated!

ydnyle: I don't think I can give you good news, most of these sinks are mounted with a bracket or a carrier. My guess is a bracket that is comming off the wall. Whoever hooked it up may have used toggle bolts that are pulling thru the sheet rock.

To repair this the sink has to be removed to see exactly what the problem is. If there are toggles being used the sheet rock will have to be cut out and a batten board installed, wall patched, and the sink hooked back up.

If its a wall carrier it's worse, the sheet rock will have to be cut to the floor, refastened [ which may be major voodoo] and everthing re-installed, sorry :(

Thanks for your help, do you know if I can get some sort of legs for it, to keep it from coming off the wall completely?
