We have a fan that has 3 bulb sockets. I want to remove that part of the fan, and instead of the 3 bulbs, just use one. I want to hang an old Tiffany lamp (with globe) in place of the 3 bulbs.
I know there just has to be a kit somewhere to do this, but where? Oh, and is it even possible? I like to research these things before I add them to the "honey do" list....sorta like to cut the mister off at the pass when he says "oh, no, that can't be done"!;)

As long as you can find a light kit then yes it is possible. One thing you may have to consider is getting the parts separately. That is, when you go to Lowe's/Home Depot, you can buy the light kit and the globes separately. It has to be a fan light kit though. They do not attach the same as a regular fixture.
