I just had progressive 4 inch receessed eyeball lighting/trim installed. I used 40 watt bulbs and all are on dimmers.. When they are on, the eyeball trim gets very hot to the touch. It is like that on all of them. Is this normal?

You'd be hot too if you stuck a 40 watt bulb in your pocket. Think about it. The bulb is only an inch or so from the eyeball, so the heat is normal.
