Hi all,

I have a recently fitted Savio Acquapiu bolier which does not want to fire up. ( Just out of warranty )

The pump is turning freely and can be heard...
The red cut out light/swtich is lit - So i assume it needs to be reset, but pressing the reset button does not do anything... it remains lit and refuses to fire up.

The air pressure fan is not spinning... I asume this will only start to spin once the cut-out light has been reset.

I have checked the reset switch/ and tried overriding it - this has no affect.

Is there any other hidden resets on the bolier or another way to try and reset it?

The red cut-out switch is lit from the moment power is turned on the bolier. - It remains lit/cut-out so i am without heating and hotwater until i can get this fixed...

Water pressure at 1.2 Bar in CH.

Please help....

Some new flame safety controls are purposely built so they can be reset 3 times only. This is for safety, so the firepot doesn't get filled up with oil. It's called idiot proofing. :D
If we told you how to reset it, that would defeat the purpose, now wouldn't it?
