So yeah, I picked up a Gilson tractor in very good condition, though the mower deck has seen better days.
Regardless, it's a 1982, model 53063 47004 and by all accounts, it would seem that I have the only one of these ever built with this model number.
I've only found reference to the 53063 in one spot, it was a new/old ebay ad for a service manual that listed this number.
Anyway, just sdearching for user guides and manuals. I know the many of the manuals for the same family of tractors are about 99% relevant. Gilson, Montgomery Ward/Ford YT16, etc, Lawnboy YT16, etc are mostly all the same.
