Many mobile home posters report removing the plastic molding between decorative panels and filling in with paintablle silicone caulk or joint compound or spackle. Then, panels are lightly sanded and primed/sealed with oil-based primer sealer and painted with a couple coats of latex paint.

how can i fix or replace some of the paneling that have dents and holes? i wouldn't mind just replacing the paneling if i can find a supplier in my area.

It's doubtfull you can find an exact match to your paneling - styles and colors change often.
If you are going to paint, you might be able to repair what you have or if you replace a section it shouldn't be too hard to find a panel that will look the same once painted.
