Aloha....
I am trying to remove the old tub spout on a two handle
tub/shower that has a diverter in it. It is the srew-on type.
I have tried to remove it and it will not budge. Appreciate any help....I'm getting frustrated!!!!

Welcome to the forums! I am assuming you just want to replace it because it is ugly. If you don't plan on reusing it, and you are certain it is a screw on type, your best friend will be a large pipe wrench. First, slightly tighten the spout with the wrench to break the seal, then flip the wrench and remove it. When you put your new one on, use teflon tape so it won't seize up again.

the best thing to do is to break the weak housing and use 2 wrenches to take the rest off! twisting on it will almost certainly make this a much more complicated job if you twist the copper coming out of the wall.
