Someone has started scratching in the wall that divides my family room & sewing room. It happens in the morning and afternoon. Not at night, so I dont think its mice. The scratching can be very loud. It is not near the chimney. We had a gas stove installed there that vents thru an outside wall, but the scratching seems to be coming from an adjacent wall. Whats my next move? Thanks/Jina :wall:

What kind of scratching is it? Does it sound like somethings climbing the wall? Running across the floor? Chewing through something? I'd say thoroughly inspect the outside of your home for entry points. Make sure pipes are screened up. Is the caulking around your utility lines still there? If you have siding, can you get your hand underneath it anywhere?
