I have a Kenmore 70 series gas dryer.
It started not tumbling, so I replaced the door switch which did not fix the problem.
I took off the front to see if there was any obstructions or breaks in the belt. There are none. I did a better job of putting the drum back into place.
It now tumbles, for 10 minutes, and shuts down. Wait another 20 minutes and we re-start. Again, goes for 10 minutes, and shuts down.
Any ideas of what is happening?

The motor is heating up and the thermo switch on it is shuting motor off. You need a motor.

Thanks. Dryer is over 10 years old, the part is $120, and every six months something breaks down. Time for a new dryer.
