I"m looking to purchase a new wood burning insert i have found a Comfort glow Blackstont series 42" at Menards for $269.OO the price does not include the blower and doors. Does anyone know anyting about the quality of this insert. I have shopped around and this is by far the best price that I have found so far. I realize that sometimes you get what you pay for however the price difference is huge.

Hi ebryan,
welcome!! your 1st post. Can you tell us a bit more?

1. Do you plan on heating your house with this?
2. What type of fireplace/chimney do you have?
3. Is it on an outside wall or in the center of your house?
4. Have you been using your fireplace lately?
