After replacing the tub downspout/diverter, I still get a thin but steady steam of water coming out of the spout during shower mode. Is this normal, or is a new diverter supposed to stop water 100%?

some tun spout diverters will drip some with the shower on because of backpressure from the restricted flow of the shower head
