I am connecting a 5/8 garden hose to a 3/4 inch hose.
Will this cause a loss of pressure when I am using the hose?

are you going down from 3/4 to 5/8 or up from 5/8 to 3/4?

Depends on which size is connected to faucet.

The pressure will remain the same however the volume will change depending on which is hooked to the faucet. When you turn on a faucet you are adjusting volume not pressure. Have a good one. Geo

Yeah the old pressure/volume thing...better to have the 3/4 first, then the 5/8.....but you probably won't notice much difference.
