Class A is that double wall stainless pipe with insulation in between the layers . Its good stuff and pricey but worth it I think.
The stuff made by Duratech has elbows that are priced so absurdly
its a disgrace, what a cheap scam. dont ever buy them. Its outright theft.
What I am looking for is a regular single or double wall non insulated
elbow to connect into the Duratech. The company says you cant do it
but screw them. It has a locking system that makes it difficult to match
up to it.
Has anyone home made a way to join up regular 6 inch pipe to this Class
A stuff. I know it can be done. I only need class A to go thru the wall and thimble but not anywhere else, especially the outside and inside elbows.
links ?? thanks

Yeah, those elbows are a bit spendy.
What is this for? Pellet stove? Wood stove? You say you don't need insulated, why not go with a B vent? I would think you would have to stay with the manufactures specs or you would risk starting a fire. Maybe go with another approved vent and skip the Duratech. This place may have what your looking for: Dampers - EliteDeals.com (http://www.elitedeals.com/dampers.html)
