I can't find any information on this unit. Found this unit locally for sale, pretty reasonably priced, but I don't know anything about it, except that it's been installed and works. It has the large round tank, 2 shorter tanks (same size) and it appears a separate filter.
Does anyone know anything about this model and if it would work for well water? We have limerock in our water, so we're looking to soften and filter. We currently have a filter on the well itself, but obviously it doesn't catch very much.
Thanks!

Are the twin tanks brown?
It is not meant for well water with high hardness (and iron) so you would need accurate ater test results. Get those first and get back with us.

The one above is less than $100
This one is $500:

After contacting the local dealer, I found out the first unit is about 15-20 yrs old and not recommended for wells.

Most likely, over 20 years old. The only well water you could put that on would be low hardness (20gpg) and no or very little iron.
These would need to be overhauled to be safe.
Did you get water testing done?
