Hi Jay....I am embeding my html tag for my furnace, Humidifier & humidistat (not a great pic). I found the connection between the humidistat & the Humidifier. I have my GA 50 switch..... Hope the pics help you for easy directions to connect the switch.
Thanks

You may have to buy some extra wires to make this work. The 18-2 t-stat is what you will need and some wire nut for this.
Put the GA50 relay on the white wire that goes to the blower motor in the lower section of the furnace.
Then wire it as shown in my drawing below.. The "Sail switch" is your G50 instead.

Is the 18-2-T-Stat the type of wiring I need?
On your diagram what are the yellow triangles - wire nuts?
What are the brown things?
Where can I get the wire from?
Does it matter white or black lead from my A50 switch which I connect to the humidifier vs the humidistat?
When I connect the A50 to the white wire from the blower do I have to have it touching the clamp on the A50 switch or just passing through it? I am not cutting any wires just opening up the clamp and passing the wire through it correct?
Thanks

Yes.

Yes.
What are the brown things?
That's the main wire, I could not draw white wire.. There are two wires inside of the wire (red and white)
Where can I get the wire from?
Any hardware store/home centers.
Does it matter white or black lead from my A50 switch which I connect to the humidifier vs the humidistat?
No.

The wire pass through it (metal wraps around.)
I am not cutting any wires just opening up the clamp and passing the wire through it correct?
Correct.
Yes.

1. I located a white line from the board located in the lower section of my furnace labeled neutrals which wraps around to the right and connects to a round circle. This line is about 1/8 inch thick much thicker than most of the other wires and is labeled 105C or AMW 1054 80C 600V Vmi. Is this the wire I am to put the A50switch on?
2. I noticed in the switch directions that if that line does not have 4amps then I am to wrap it around the metal bracket. My furnace is a Rheem Classic 90 Plus...do you know if this will supply in that line 4amps. I did buy a digital Multimeter.
3. In looking at the connections from the humidistat to the humidifer....they are connected from a regular plug in convereted to some sort of metal clamps...to the two yellow lines coming out of the humidifer. In your diagram I am to connect the white line from the humidistat to the humidifer...since it is already connected is there a way for me to determine which line is red and then only disconnect it??? Can I use this Digital Multimeter??
Thanks

Is this white wire going to the motor in the blower? If so, yes that is the wire.

I think one wire is fine.. It will be over 4 amps.

I'm not sure what you got?? Can you take a photo of this?

Here is the short cut to the pics I took.

If this doesn't work scroll down in this thread and it is listed directly below your wiring diagram.
The black cord comes from the humidistat and seperates into two leads with metal crimpings on it which connect into the two yellow lines which also have metal ends from the humidifier.
Thanks

Ok, Yes, the two yellow wires are your low voltage wire, and it really don't matter from one to another (red or white).. As long everything is going in as drawn in the drawing I've done.

Just wanted to drop you a note.....Installed the A50 switch pulled the two lines made the connections and now my humidifier is turning on with with blower & off when it shuts off!!!!
Thanks U GUYS!!!!!! Now my wood floors will be happier not to mention my sinuses!!!!
