Outdoor Power Equipment and Small Engines - Need help identifing engine year and oil mix. (Toro)

I have a Toro powerlite snowblower that I replaced the motor on with a used one. I think I did the swap in 1996.

The used motor came out of a old Toro ccr1000.

The motor has a tag on it reading "SBH-1491 TECUMSEH 2036H"
does this mean its a 1992?
I read the sticky but I still cant make sense of it.

These small 2 stroke motors use 32:1 or 50:1 depending on the year.
Is there any difference between the two motors or did they just lean out the oil mix for emissions without makeing any changes to the motor? Thanks

Use a good quality 2 cycle oil, stihl, echo etc and 50:1 is fine. I use it in all my equip even an old snapper snowblower with a huge warning sticker against anything other than 32:1.

I bet your right and 50:1 is fine.
I have been going heavy with the mix but I would still like to know what year it is.
I know Toro made a ccr1000 in 1990 and that was supposed to use 32:1.

I used the shroud (starter housing) off the original motor so the model and serial number on it are for the old motor.

I looked up both motors on the Toro site. I still don't know witch one I have.
I looked up a ccr1000 motor from 1996 (50:1) and one from 1990(32:1)
The two motors have different part numbers but appear to use the same bearings,rings,rod,crank and piston.
The cylinder heads have a slightly different part number.

The # for the 1996 motor is Hsk600-1681s

The # for the 1990 motor is Hsk600 Type 1659-N

Use a name brand 50:1 2 cycle oil and you wont have any problem. I use 50:1 in everything 2 cycle that I have. My chainsaw, weedwacker, and my snowmobile. None of the engines have ever blown.
