Ok, the g/f has an electric wtr heater and the drain pan (not piped to a floor drain) has about 1/2" of water in it. But, it's not rising.
Now, I've replaced dozens of water heaters and know from my experience that when you see water on the floor you have maybe a day or two before a flood. But in her case, it's stopped leaking.
I checked to make sure the pressure relief isn't dumping into the pan, and it isn't, but I cannot think what else might be causing this. Nothing from up above that I can see or feel dripping.
Any ideas?
