I have an old wood burning heater that I'd like to put to use...but I notice some cracks between the firebox and the 6" exit pipe flange (which will hook up to the stove pipe). Is there a material(cement?) that I can use to try to seal these cracks? If there is, does it have adhesive properties also.

Thanks for any suggestions...
