I have a teak rocker. My problem is when I rock back, my feet
come several inches off the floor and I feel as though I will fall backwards.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what I could/should use to restrict how far back the rocker will go.

Thanks

Tapered shims of a similar wood attached to the botton of the (hmm what are they called?) curved parts on the bottom at the point where you want it to stop. Tapered shims, not stop blocks, that would defeat the whole rocking experience.

The shims will work, but really aren't needed. The rocker is designed to rock to a point and return. It won't turn over as long as it is properly used(being seated). If it makes you feel better, try tying a rag or strip of something on the rockers where you think they should be and try it again. Keep moving until you get the feel you want then add the shims to make it permenant!
