We have an EcoWater System ETF2100-if12 iron filtration system. It sounds as if there's a constant water drain into our septic system. We've tried manually resetting the system, manually recharging the system, various voodoo spells and hexes, and just plain old screaming at the thing.

As of yet, we haven't tried unplugging it and plugging it back in. What would any of you fine gentlemen (or women) suggest?

While the unit is in the service position, disconnect the drain line from the unit by pulling the clip that holds the drain elbow. If you see water flowing, the problew is with the rotor and seals. These would have to be replace to correct the problem
