I found a local dealer, but he does not have the parts in stock - brine valve and O-ring. He also suggested the problem may be the float in the brine tank. He says it may not working right; not shutting off the water. Similar to the float in a toilet. When I got home I switched the bypass off and the water started to immediately fill up the brine tank again. I manually pulled up the float and sure enough the water shut off. Can anyone send me the part number for this piece? Sure seems like this may be the problem. Thanks.

The float is only a safety. The unit itself shuts off the water to the tank. With the unit in a service position, disconnect the brine line from the unit. If there is water dripping out of the brine connection, then the o ring or the brine valve itself is bad. Sometimes the float will not stop the water flow because there is no pressure behind it. I can get the parts for you. Sent me a private message and we can talk about it.
