The fan/blower on our State Select gas water heater is running contiuously. This problem happened less than three years ago and we were told that a new gas control valve and relay switch were needed (at a cost of $350). Surely this isn't normal? What could be causing this repeat problem? Is there a known problem with State water heaters and/or the gas control valve mechnism?
