Hello all, just found this site. Its good to see that there is alot useful info on this board for all the "do it your selfers" out there.

*how do I set the water temp on my oil fired Brock IB 32-R water heater? the temp was at 130 F at the tap when i last checked.

-I know that there is high and low setting:

a) on the "high" setting there are 2 levers on the unit; one gold colored, set at 140 F (the lowest temp. on the high limit setting) the other, silver colored set at 160 F.

b) on the "low" setting, there are two levers as well. I unfortunately dont recall the settings; I know one lever is set at around 110 F.

these levers sit one on top of each other respectively, fastened by a single screw.

*which lever do i adjust for the high and low temp?; it also mentions to keep a difference of 20 F between the two settings...?

I already called the technician from the oil comapny, but he didnt seem to keen on helping me at that time; he only told me the obvious, he also failed to mention that there are two levers for each of the high and low settings. I have been searching on the net for the manual without any luck. I thought it would be wise to do some research before i started to adjust the settings.

Thx in advance for your time.
