Hi,

We have an outdoor staircase with cement steps. The steps do not touch each other. One of the steps has broken (towards the front of the step) and the rebar can be seen. Is there any way to repair the step?

There's always a way, but you didn't provide enough info. Can you post a pic?

If you try to patch the step, it won't look very good and it won't last long. It might be easier and a better long term solution to remove the stairs and put in new ones. There's a product I've used called ------ which are adjustable brackets. You can easily,quickly and inexpensively make concrete formwork, (it's reusable by the way). Then pour the concrete and you'll have strong, professional looking stairs. See what I mean:
