I have a 4 year old GE GXSH39E water softener that was stuck in the regeneration mode. I cleaned out the seals and it regenerated. However, the next time it went to regenerate it flashed 11 on the top line and 37 on the second while beeping and won't allow me to do anything with the controls. Is the control unit fried?

This is the manual in case you don't have one. When is unit has an electronic fault, it will show an err 01, 02, 03 or 04. Unplug the unit and replug. This will reset the unit.

I tried that with no success... Just keeps either flashing the 11 and 37 or I get a dead screen. Any suggestions?

Yes, it's probable the circuit board is fried. If you can't get it to stop beeping, try unplugging the motor and wiring harness then unplug and replug. If this doesn't work, replace the circuit board.
