Hi, i recently moved into a new home and there was a DSC power 632 and a DSC RF5501z i believe is the only keypad installed at the front door. they system is not powered up and the battery is disconnected. i want to get the system up and running but i wantted to check and see exactly the safe way to power it up if that makes sense.
next there is no sensors of any kind installed (that i can find) the panel has only the Keypad out and the siren out hooked up thats it. i am wondering if it was supposed to be a wireless system. i could probably run a couple motions downstairs as its a suspended celling. what sensors would i need to get the whole system up and running.
also where can i get the manual from? can seem to find the right one. anything else that anyone would think would help me out such as keypads, sensors ect would be great.
Thanks for any help.

If you actually have the RF model keypad, it is the wireless receiver as well as the keypad.
The odds are that you have hardwired zones if you see not transmitters.
The backup battery is probably dead and won't take a charge, but the normal power up is plug in the ac transformer, then connect the battery.
Websearch using the phrase "DSC PC1555 installer manual"
and "LCD 5501RF"
