Hi,
I have a Whirlpool top load washer Model#LSR5132PQ0, serial# CS3135946-about 3 yrs old. It is running fine, but water is leaking out of the bottom when the washer is filling and draining. I took the back cover off and filled it manually and ran it through the cycles-I didn't see it leaking. But the pump, etc. is located in the front and there is no front cover to take off. Anyone have any suggestions of what could be leaking, or how I could figure it out?

Back cover?
According to your model # you have a direct drive machine. The whole cabinet comes off. The most common leaker is the pump. Check this website:
Washer repair help sections, how to fix washing machines, how to take apart washers, Maytag, Whirlpool, GE, Kenmore, Inlgis, Frigidaire, Neptune, Atlantis, washer won't spin, washer wont agitate, my washer is leaking water, laundry stains. (http://www.applianceaid.com/washers.html)

If you find the pump is rusted to the motor shaft, the easiest way to get it off is to carefully pound it off with a hammer. Just avoid the temptation to bust it up with anything, just makes the job harder.

all you had to do is lean the washer against the wall and pop the 2 clips off that hold the pump on. 5 minute job ;)

Thank you! I couldn't figure out how to take the cabinet off. I ran it, and see water leaking out of the pump. You were right! I am now looking to find a replacement pump. I see they are $70 at AP wagner-I will look on eBay.
Thanks A LOT! I really appreciate the help! You've saved me a ton of money!

I've seen the pumps on EBay for $13. The online parts retailers are way too high on their prices.

Great! My experience has been that the online parts retailers are way overpriced. It sounds like you probably bought the SUPCO pump, LP116?
