I removed the crankcase breather plate to get to the intake and exhaust valves
When I removed the plate I found a filter under it and a metal insert container which I cant seem to removce with out damaging it
Is there some trick that I cant think of
Any help would be apericated

You can download a manual for your engine at the link below. In the manual you can see an illustration of the side mounted breather. Pop it of with a screwdriver taking care not to damage the gasket.
