I have a lp modine heater 150000, for a greenhouse. I have this set for approx 40 degrees.
The heater would be working fine then on several occasions I had to relight the pilot light. The pilot light stays lit.
yesterday I adjusted the air shutter to adjust the flow of air so the pilot light would not blow out. I turned the heater on and off at least 25 times and was working properly. This was about 8 pm. On my way to work I checked the heater at 5 am and it was not working.
I relit the pilot light and set it for 45 degrees and walk away.

Changing the air shutter settings can create hazardous conditions. I'd contact a repairman to correct the pilot problem and set the air shutter properly for you.
