Ok, so I need a Glow Coil... does anyone know where I can get one??? Also, how would I install it? The guy from PG&E who came out showed me where to disconnect it, but now how to remove and replace it...

Luckily the weather this week has been somewhat warm, nights are cold but not freezing but temp is going down... So plz help... thanks!!

I have never heard of the term "glow coil". Do you mean a hot surface igniter? You will need the make and model number of your furnace. It's not a one-size-fits-all kind of thing.

Removal and replacement is fairly straight forward. It's bracket should be attached by one or two sheetmetal screws to the burner assembly. Be careful, they break very easily.

If you live in a fairly large city you should be able to find a HVAC parts supplier in your area. Look in the yellow pages under "appliance parts" or "heating Equipment Parts." They will probably have limited hours on the weekend so you better start early. Take the old one out and take it with you.
