hello i have coleman furnace model dgu06010ub that sets off 3 flash error, pressure switch if I pop off both air tubes and blow into them clear out water that gets trapped in switch it will them run anyone know how to place a bypass jumper wire in case the switch goes bad?i now it will go in middle of night some day, also the intake will get froze up sometimes middle of night when below zero (like today) if i pop off the front plate to burner it will run to get me through the night till i can thaw intake line (i am going to relocate when it warms up) how bad or is it bad to open burner and let run for night? thanks

I'm afraid bypassing safeties of this kind would be a dangerous thing to do and could cause death or permanent injuries from carbon monoxide poisoning.

You have two things going on here.
First, Water in your pressure switch lines: This is usually caused by a partial blockage in a condensate disposal hose (inside the furnace) or a blockage in the trap (outside the furnace where where the condensate hoses attach) or a blockage in the hose or pipe going from the condensate trap to the floor drain. Also make sure this line goes down-hill all the way.Try to route the pressure switch hose coming from the inducer in such a way so that water cannot collect in a low place but run back to the inducer (the small blower) where it can be dealt with. The inducer will always have a little water in it because this is a condensing furnace. I agree with SeattlePioneer, it would be very dangerous to bypass the pressure switch and them simply walk away.

Second problem, your combustion air inlet freezing up. I don't really understand how this could be happening. Where is it freezing? Outside the house? There shouldn't be any water in this line at all. There will be some condensate in the flue pipe that could freeze up if the pipe is not sloping back to the furnace correctly you aren't getting the two mixed up are you?

I don't recommend just removing the burner box door for fresh air. A safer (but still questionable) alternative would be to cut off the PVC pipe just before it enters the furnace. MAKE SURE YOU CUT THE INLET PIPE NOT THE FLUE PIPE OR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY COULD BE DEAD BEFORE MORNING!!! :alarm: This is just a temporary fix at best. Please find out where, why and how the combustion air pipe is "freezing up".
