My heating boiler is in my attached garage. I'm thinking I might not hear the 9 Volt smoke alarm going off in the garage.

Do they make a 9 volt smoke alarm with a remote alarm? I like to put the buzzer in the living area.

It sounds like your place isn't wired for normal smoke alarm interconnect. Try these systems:

Several other brands make similar setups. Check your local home center.
