My friend has a JVC 32" CRT TV from 2004 and is having some problems with it. They said that they were watching a movie the other day and fell asleep for some of it but when they woke up the TV was off but the DVD player was still going. They tried to turn the TV back on but the only thing that happens now is the light blinks and you can hear it making a clikcing noise like it's trying to turn on but won't. They have tried unplugging the TV for a while and plugging it back in but that didn't work. I think it may just be a fuse out somewhere but I don't know enough about TV's to know for sure. Does anyone have any ideas?? They are supposed to get me the model number from the TV later today if that will help.
Thank you

Diagnosing " dead set " problems takes a little time.Your going to need a multimeter and know how to use it plus some soldering skills.Got any friends that fit that description?I'll be happy to guide them through fixing the set.
