Hello -
Does anyone have any experience with these units? Good or bad. I was looking at one online, couldn't find any helpful info on it.
Thanks in advance,
Mike

My first questions would be: where did you hear of this?
I think your spelling was the reason why you cannot find it on the web.
Sirius Water Technologies Private Limited (http://siriuswatertech.com/about.html)
This has got to be one of the lamest web site I have ever seen. It gives absolutely no information about its product. It says it has certifications but doesn't list them. Explains nothing of what it does. The Singapore company is looking for dealers....!
Stay away from this not "serious" technology.

Here is the site I was looking at.
Salt-Free Filtersorb SP Water Softener Conditioners (http://www.watervalue.com/filtersorbSP.html)
I can't find any products on the Sirius site, so not sure if it's one and the same.

I still say, stay a way. It is not a softener, it is just a filter. It is very misleading to call it a softener.
Filtersorb is marketed to 'change the shape' of the hardness molecules so they don't leave scale build-up but this is not verified by any testing authority that I am aware of.

This company makes air to water systems strictly for Point of Use. They condense humidity from the air, filter it, radiate it with UV and chill for dispensing like a bottleless water cooler.
I bumped into them at a trade show in 2008. They're not the first to do this, but it is a great idea in tropical climates where the is limited access to "piped-in" water.
This is not a softening alternative and definitely not for whole house use. IIRC the system can recover a max of 5gpd in 80% ambient humidity environment.
