Ok, been reading/researching a lot about cellular backup for my Lynxr-EN. Wondering if the Lynxr-EN is compatible with the Telguard TG-1, TG-4? And if it can do full reporting with the Ademoc 7845 GSM?

If I have a landline and will be using the cellular as a backup, I would think the Telguard TG-4 or Ademco 7845 GSM is the way to go right? I think I can rule out the Uplink Anynet as it doesn't do full reporting, and since they're all similarly priced, I'd rather go with something that can do full reporting.

Any opinions, suggestions? Thanks.

Go with the Ademco. It's designed to work with your panel.

From what I could glean from searching, the Lynxr-EN will not do full Contact ID reporting with the Ademco 7845GSM?

The 7845GSM apparently can do ECP mode using LRR-ECP Communication with some panels. So I guess the Lynxr-EN isn't one of those panels?

Will the Lynxr-EN do full contact ID reporting with the Telguard unit I wonder?

Ummm, Honeywell says different:

"Dialer Capture Ready – Compatible with Dialer Capture Intelligence Device DCID (for LYNX) or DCID-EXT (other control panels). Captures Contact ID messages from the panel’s phone line and sends them to the central station via the GSM radio. "

I don't have a separate Dialer Capture Intelligence Device (DCID).
I wasn't aware that the Lynxr-EN has a built in DCID??? Is that true?

Ok, now that I've had a chance to paw thru the install instructions, fully, it's the LynxR-I that has the full ECP mode connection. For what you want to do, go with the Telguard (I think the TG-1 is what you want (you are going no land line?)
