Bricks, Masonry, Asphalt and Concrete - want to add basement

I live in a double wide but my husband and I would like to lift the house and put a basement in but we need to find out how many cross I beams we need it is a 26 x 72 house we have 48 peirs that is the problem that is not encluding the center ones which we can deal with. We have just put the house a little over a year ago and it was a repo the place we bought it from went under so I do not now where else to look the manufacture is not around anymore either So if some one can help us out. thanks

Go to local building code office. The building inspector will be able to advise you what your local building codes require for foundation and beam construction. The construction will require a building permit.

the building inspector was no help when we needed to but the piers in when we first set the house so they will be no help we went that way before and got no where
