I need a little direction.
I have installed the AD-2000 to the phone line and to the power. I have the contacts in the rear of the AD-2000 #1 and the common wired to the DSC 1832 + and - siren output to trigger the dialer. I did not install an included resistor accross the AD2000 terminals. Is that proper? The AD2000 under test (pressing M twice) calls the phone numbers and transmits the recorded message properly. For some reason, the DSC siren output will not trip the AD2000 under an alarm test with the siren of the DSC sounding. I have the AD2000 set to:

Channel 1 Enabled
No Exit Delay
No Entry Delay
Normally Open
Cont (option 2)
Dial #'s 1,2,3,4
OGM 1
And then 1 for accept.

I figure the easiest way to trigger the dialer is through the siren on the DSC? The AD2000 just will not trigger the way I have it wired.
Please some direction.
***Am I correct in thinking that I need a ELK 912 relay to trigger the AD2000 through the siren + and - ?
Thanks.
Ben

According to the instructions, for voltage trigger, the channel needs to be set as NC.

Simple test, make that change, then apply aux power voltage to the channel, and it should dial.
