I was wondering if this de-scaler, electronic device had been checked out by the moderators of this forum or by any members.
Thank you

So, a week later and nobody took the bait.
It seems that most/all electronic magnetic conditioners/softeners have been found to be worthless by persons who do not have a vested interest in these products.
Mr. Moderator: Why is the Equinox/Vitasalus Hardness Master allowed to advertise on this forum? Because of legal problems if not allowed to advertise? Are they truly members of the WQA?
Related question: Are hardness and scale the same or does hardness lead to scale, down the road?
Lastly, what is the deal on "FilterSorb SP3 Anti-Scale Media"?
It supposedly transforms scale/calcium/magnesium into nano particles which will not attach to pipes and fixtures
Anyone can jump in on this, not just moderator.
Thank you

They pay the fees, they get advertising links. The site has to make money somehow.

Testing and validation organizations such NSF, UL, WQA, have numerous catagories for certification. Some can be tested to make sure that their products simply don't impart dangerous materials into the water, for example.
When you see these certifications, try to specify which level they have been tested. The tests are very strict and controlled but not all say the equipment is what you need.
