Is there such a thing as a water heater base? My current water heater is sitting on 3 cement blocks (not stacked). However, I am going to be replacing my water heater soon and I thought there may be something out there (that doesn't cost a lot) that would support my water heater as base other than ordinary cement blocks.

Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks!

Yep...most anywhere that sells WH will have them. May not match up with your space or plumbing though. I think most places that require them have an 18 inch above the floor requirement.

It may have been replaced in the past with a shorter WH, and they used that to get it to match up.

Put in a pan at the same time if you want to do the whole thing correctly.
