I am getting my doors hung in the basement and was wondering when I should install the trim around? Do I or should I wait until the carpet and or tile is installed as I will be for the floor trim or when he hangs the doors , should he also install the trim round?

Case the doors when intalled. Any undercutting required afterward is simple.

Who would do the undercutting? The carpet/tile installer or the person who installed the doors?

Normally [if there is such a thing] casing and base is installed prior to carpet with the base set about 1/2" above the floor allowing the carpet to be tucked under it. Base is usually installed after the tile is down.
