Hi, I've just purchased a house that was built in 1984 and would like to replace the windows; I'm considering either Simonton Reflections 5500 Series or Jen Weld "Builder" Series vinyl replacement windows. Would greatly appreciate any info (pro/con) that any of you could provide on these products. Thanks !

Avoid builder series of any window, they are basically junk. Not sure if they are in your area, but look for Paradigm, or Viwinco. Simonton has a good reputation, but I have never used them.
