Does anyone have any good techniques for remembering which jumper wires go to which connectors when taking a board out of an electronic device?

i am attempting to remove the board, but there are LOTS of wires connected to the board! I don't want to forget what wire went where!

Any hints or ideas?

Write it all down, and/or take a few digital pics.

You can use " wire markers " available at the big box stores.They are stckers that tape on to wires and location they go.
