Hi, I'm hoping you can help me. I have a maytag washer Model Mah2400aww.The pump doesn't work in the washer but if i take it out of the washer and put a test cord to test it and it will work. And i have 110v on the plug from the control panel going to the pump. I was thinking of replacing the control panel in the washer. Would the control panel be bad? Do they have any recalls on this washer? Thanks ,Airwolf

Exactly where do you have 110 volts in the washer? At the control panel end of the cable or the pump end of the cable? Maybe the cable is open between the control panel and the pump?

Hi, I have volts on pump end of the cable. Does that mean that control panel is bad? It sounds like isn't worth fixing if this case. Thanks a million . Appreciate help from you guys.

if you have 120 volts ac to the pump it should be draining.

check and make sure there are no small objects in the impeller of the pump.

Hi , I put a new pump in the washer and when that didn't work i tested both old/new pump with test cord and they both worked. What i'm thinking is that it is a bad control board that is kepting the pump from working .Because a signal most go back to the board. Thanks

You might have something stuck in the inlet to the pump from the tub.
