I have a veneer topped dining table that has a small buckle from a watered plant. Can it be repaired? Also, it isn't water resistant...is there anything I can do to make it that way? We use it every day and wish we didn't have to use a protective cover on it. Thank You

IF it is of value to you get it professionally repaired. They will use syringe glue and weights to attach the veneer to the top again. Applying a few good coats of furniture wax will help it resist water spills by it not seeping under the wood before you can sop it up. A polyurethane ontop will also help BUT again it depends on its age and it value to you.
