I have an old mission style oak chair with the back/seat covered in leather which is cracked and dry-rotted. It has a coil spring seat that needs replacing. I know how to recover the back of the chair, but am unsure how to proceed with the seat, which is stuffed with what I assume is horse hair and has coil springs. If anyone could direct me on where I can find directions on taking apart the seat and replace the stuffing, spring coils, webbing etc., I'd appreciate it.
