The standard size is 2 3/8 "diameter. I need change some old style door knob assemblies. The hole in the door is about an inch in diameter. Where can I buy them? I want to avoid buying a hole saw and drilling.

Depends on what you're looking for beyond the crossbore size: Emtek, Cal Royal, Baldwin, and tons of them overseas (China direct).
