I just got an HDS and am in a quandry about the cabling.
It is a Samsung.
Do I only need the HDMI cable from the cable box to the TV or do I also need coax as shown in the wiring diagram when used with a box that descrambles signals?

Just use the hdmi cable.......

You only need the HDMI to the TV. the coax will come from the wall into your box and the HDMI will go from the box to the TV and voila.
