I'm framing in a pole-barn carport with plywood sheathing (T1-11) with no separate siding over it. My question is how to finish the builders' paper (30# felt) at windows and doors. I'm thinking that it should wrap in from the framing at the rough openings and be stapled down to the studs/headers/sills, then the siding goes over it, then the openings are cut out, then the windows/prehung doors go in. Do I have this right?
